Parenting

I bow to every parent in the world because it’s the most difficult job and no one taught us how to become parents and the only role models we have are our own parents. But we don’t want to be like our parents, we need to be much more open, understanding and straightforward. It’s such a responsibility to bring children into this world, particularly at this time. To hold your baby in your arms for the first time it’s something indescribable, as it fills you with trepidation, knowing just how responsible you’ll have to be for the rest of your life. You have to nurture them, look after them, and also be the police man, and it’s such a difficult balancing act.

But somehow we get through all the trials and tribulations, the joy and the tears. But it is now our responsibility to create a better society for parents, better education, more understanding and working together to look after our children.
